Maximise your tax claim this year, and at the same time help Youth Advocacy Centre support some of our most vulnerable young people. 

Your gift can help turn a troubled young life around:

  • $30 can buy emergency welfare assistance for one of our young clients, such as two nights accommodation in a youth shelter, a food voucher, or new clothes to enable them to start a training course or at a new school
  • $40 contributes to an hour for our Youth Support workers to help a young person work through their crisis
  • $55 contributes to a lawyer being in court to represent a young person who is isolated from their family and alone
  • $100 represents our Family Support Advocate spending two hours with a young person’s family, to help resolve conflict or provide a family support intervention
  • $150 can help YAC deliver its training package to a youth worker in a regional area, so that they’re better able to support young people in contact with the youth justice and child protection systems
  • $2,800 represents the average cost for a young person with complex needs to work through their situation with both a lawyer and a Youth Support worker over 12 months, to get their life back on track.
